2019 Connors Agency Business Scholarship

Congratulations to Mechanicville High School senior Marcus Tobin on being awarded the 2019 Connors Agency Business Scholarship, given in memory of John H. & Kathleen Connors to a student who has shown exemplary knowledge in the field of business.  In addition to having a desire for success in business, our recipient is selected based on a number of other qualities that are essential for success including selfless volunteering and active involvement to give back in our community where needed. 

Marcus graduated with an Advanced Regents Diploma. He has been a member of the Varsity Soccer team since 9th grade and was on the Varsity Track team for two years. Marcus plans to attend SUNY Oswego where he will study business. 

In 1955, 27-year old John H. Connors founded The Connors Agency with one company and made providing quality service, and public service, the guiding principles.  Today more than 64 years later, we have still guided these original principles, and have awarded this scholarship since 2008.
